"The right sauna for Colorado isn't the one with the best website — it's the one assembled by someone who's done it in the cold."

Questions we answer every week
Worth knowing before you buy — or before you call.
Quality outdoor models — especially those built from thermally modified wood — can run year-round on the Front Range or in mountain corridor installations. Site exposure, proper leveling, and basic maintenance matter. We'll walk you through what to expect for your specific location.
Roughly 1 hour to reach about 170°F, depending on heater size and ambient temperature. Larger rooms or colder days take longer. We size the heater to the room — undersizing is one of the most common mistakes people make buying direct.
Technically, yes. Practically — most barrel and cabin installs look simpler on paper than they actually are. Freight staging, leveling, trim fitment, shingling, and electrical prep all stack up. Professional assembly gets your first session faster with fewer headaches.
Most 4–6 person traditional electric saunas need a dedicated 240V circuit, typically 30–40 amp. Exact requirements depend on heater selection. Electrical scope is separate from assembly and should be planned with a licensed electrician — we help coordinate.
Because buying direct means you're alone when the freight is damaged, the assembly instructions don't match what shipped, or the heater control throws an error three months in. We handle all of that. Real product knowledge, real assembly experience, and a real person when you need something after the sale.
Sauna Friend operates as a private wellness association. Members receive exclusive pricing below public retail, priority scheduling for assembly, and concierge-style support throughout the ownership experience. Request pricing through the form to get started.
