Before the truck
A delivery is the end of a sequence, not the start of one. By the time freight is booked, the base is finished, the route in has been measured, the placement is settled, and the electrical scope is with a licensed electrician. Your specialist confirms each of those with you before a carrier is scheduled, because a crate on a driveway with nowhere to go is a problem nobody can solve on the day.
The site-readiness list below is what we walk before the truck is booked. Most of it we handle as part of the project. Where something falls to the household, we tell you which item it is and when it has to be done by.
What that covers
- The base is finished, level, stable, and draining, and it has been given time to be ready.
- The route in is clear: gate widths, turns, grade, overhead clearance, and somewhere to set crates down.
- Placement is decided on site, not guessed from a photograph. Sight lines, privacy, sun, and the winter walk back to the door.
- Electrical work is coordinated through licensed electricians as part of your project, and the schedule is held so power is ready when the crew arrives.
- Someone who can make a decision is on site, or has named someone who can.
